2d Intel Bn, Geospatial Battlefield Intelligence platoon was doing a training exercise on the beach for hydrography surveying. They had an HF TRC-209 set up, but no UHF/ VHF with range control. We set up the RAMM, hooked up a PRC-152 (no amp) and did a comm check. Loud and clear..From 13 miles (21 km).

Div Comm Co recently used it at a mortar shoot at Sandy Run, and it worked when OE-254 didn’t. The RAMM was Lima-Charlie, 20 miles from Range Control

The Bi-stable Reeled Composite that Rolatube developed for us as a re-usable lightweight transport protection sleeve was ideal solution for our systems and the warfighters using them.

On our boat and in our camper, space is limited and we really appreciate the fact that the hooks can be tucked away but are readily available when needed. The impressive strength is also a great feature.
