System 50: Single Tube Mast

Our smallest tactical mast system, Rolatube’s System 50 masts have been specifically designed to increase the capability of defence personnel by providing a range of simple masts that minimise packed volume, weight and complexity.

Compared to our other mast systems,  the System 50 mast is more compact and simpler for elevating light top loads. It is ideal for the rapid deployment of communications and surveillance technology including anti-drone systems, optics, thermal cameras and radio systems.

Deployed and recovered in minutes with minimum personnel, the mast is maintenance-free and contains no moving parts to jam or freeze. Weather resistant and recoverable even when iced up, the mast retains operability in the harshest environments.

All Rolatube mast systems have exceptionally low packed volume. Our System 50 mast systems pack into soft bags of just 170mm x 250mm x 180mm (6.6” x 9.8” x 7″) and weigh from as little as 2.0kg (4.4lbs). Available in three heights to match operational requirements, the mast system is supplied with everything you need for set up. The mast’s top cap includes a 30mm spigot mount for fitting of top loads.

All Rolatube mast systems are supported by a range of accessories for attaching equipment and providing additional setup options.

The System 50 mast is manufactured using Rolatube’s unique rollable composite to provide reliable maintenance-free operation over its lifetime. The mast body incorporates a tough, weatherproof cover which is available in a range of colours enabling the mast to be either easily identifiable or blend into to its environment as required.
