Rolatube Deployable Mast Systems at BSDA 2026

Rolatube products will be exhibited at BSDA 2026, the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security exhibition, taking place from 13-15 May at ROMAERO S.A. in Bucharest, Romania. Our distributor, Solhard Technology, will be exhibiting Rolatube systems on Stand B-207 with their partner Centrul pentru Servicii de Radiocomunicatii.

BSDA brings together defence, security, government, and industry professionals from across the Black Sea region and beyond to explore current and emerging equipment for operational environments. For teams working in these settings, communications resilience, fast deployment, and low logistical burden are practical requirements that shape what equipment can be used in the field.

Portable Mast Systems for Defence, Security, and Field Communications

Rolatube’s deployable mast, tripod, and Integrated Antenna Mast (IAM) systems provide compact support infrastructure for applications such as tactical communications, perimeter monitoring, surveillance, temporary security, emergency response, and field operations.

Built using patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology, Rolatube masts roll down to a compact size for transport and deploy into rigid structural tubes when needed. This makes them easier to carry, store, and redeploy than conventional telescopic mast systems, while still providing a stable platform for antennas, cameras, sensors, and lighting equipment.

For defence and security users, that combination matters. Equipment may need to be moved between sites, carried by a single operator, loaded into a vehicle with limited space, or deployed quickly in environments where conventional mast systems are too heavy, bulky, or maintenance-intensive.

Compact Systems for Operationally Demanding Environments

Rolatube systems are designed for repeated field use. With no moving parts in the composite structure, the systems are virtually maintenance-free and avoid many of the issues associated with traditional telescopic masts, such as dirt, dust, and mechanical seizure.

Across the range, Rolatube systems support communications and security equipment while keeping pack size and system weight low. Mast systems can support antennas, surveillance cameras, and sensors; tripod systems provide compact elevated platforms for cameras, lights, and monitoring equipment; and Integrated Antenna Mast systems combine mast and antenna into one deployable unit for portable VHF and UHF communications.

The systems operate across a temperature range of -31 degrees C to +49 degrees C and are designed to perform in demanding outdoor conditions, including wind tolerance up to 100kph depending on system configuration. For organisations working across defence, public safety, critical infrastructure, and emergency communications, that reliability supports fast, practical deployment when time and transport space are limited.
