MSPO (International Defence Industry Exhibition) is Poland’s largest and Central Europe’s most important defence exhibition, bringing together military, government, and defence industry professionals to explore the latest in defence technology, equipment, and operational infrastructure.
Compact, Lightweight Systems for Military Operations
Rolatube’s deployable mast and tripod systems are built on patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology. The rollable composite tubes store in a compact rolled state and deploy into rigid, load-bearing structures in minutes.
The numbers tell the story. A System 50 1m Tripod weighs just 3.5kg yet supports loads of up to 115kg, which is 33 times its own weight, and it packs down to just 250mm x 320mm x 260mm. A complete 7-metre mast system weighs 8kg, where conventional alternatives often exceed 25kg. In practice, that means communications antennas, surveillance equipment, and perimeter sensors can be carried in a backpack and deployed by a single operator, with no need for heavy vehicles or dedicated transport.
Reliability in the field comes from simplicity. Because the composite tubes contain no moving parts, there is nothing to jam, seize, or freeze, and the systems are virtually maintenance-free. They keep performing in temperatures from -31 degrees C to +49 degrees C, in winds of up to 100kph, and under ice accumulation. This is proven technology, trusted by NATO and allied forces worldwide for communications, ISR, and rapid deployment operations in the field.
