Rolatube Portable Mast Systems at The Emergency Services Show 2026
Rolatube will be exhibiting at The Emergency Services Show 2026 on the 16th and 17th of September on stand D17 at the NEC Birmingham, UK.
The Emergency Services Show is the UK’s leading event for the blue light sector, bringing together professionals from police, fire, ambulance, and search and rescue services to explore the latest equipment, technology, and solutions for emergency response operations.
Lightweight, Deployable Infrastructure for Emergency Response
When an incident occurs, getting communications, lighting, and surveillance operational quickly can be critical. Rolatube’s deployable mast and tripod systems are built for exactly these situations. They are portable enough to carry on foot, light enough for a single responder to deploy, and reliable enough to perform when it matters most.
Using patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology, the systems pack down to a size that fits in an emergency vehicle or grab bag. The System 50 1m Tripod weighs just 3.5kg yet supports top loads of up to 115kg, while mast systems from 2 metres to 10 metres provide elevated platforms for temporary lighting at incident scenes, communications masts for coordination between teams, and surveillance for scene monitoring and perimeter control.
For radio communications, the RESQ Integrated Antenna Mast range was designed specifically around the frequencies used by the emergency services. The antenna is embedded within the composite mast itself, so there is nothing separate to assemble or mount at the scene. The 3.5-metre RESQ IAM weighs just 2.3kg and the 7-metre version 6.2kg, both covering the VHF band from 136 to 175 MHz. Unroll the mast, connect the radio, and start transmitting.
That reliability holds when conditions are poor. There are no joints to seize, no lubricants to fail, and no parts to jam in wet, cold, or demanding environments, which makes the systems virtually maintenance-free. They operate from -31 degrees C to +49 degrees C and in winds of up to 100kph, giving emergency teams confidence that their infrastructure will perform whatever the weather.
