Rolatube Deployable Mast Systems at IBC 2026
Rolatube will be attending IBC 2026 from the 11th to the 14th of September at the RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands.
IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) is the world’s most influential media, entertainment, and technology show, bringing together broadcasters, content creators, and technology providers to explore the latest in content production, distribution, and broadcast infrastructure.
Portable Mast and Antenna Solutions for Broadcast Operations
Rolatube’s deployable mast systems offer a lightweight, compact alternative to traditional broadcast infrastructure. Built using patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology, the systems deploy from a compact rolled state into rigid, load-bearing structures. For outside broadcast units, that means portable antenna masts, temporary transmission infrastructure, and signal distribution without the weight and bulk of conventional equipment.
The Integrated Antenna Mast (IAM) range is particularly well suited to broadcast work because the antenna is embedded directly within the composite mast tube, so there is no separate antenna to assemble or mount on location. The 7-metre RESQ IAM weighs just 6.2kg and covers VHF frequencies from 136 to 175 MHz, light enough for one person to carry and quick enough for a small crew to deploy in under five minutes. For heavier payloads, mast systems from 2 metres to 10 metres support antennas, transmitters, and signal equipment, with the System 100 providing 10 metres of height at under 25kg.
Field broadcast is unforgiving of fragile equipment, and this is where the simplicity of the design earns its keep. With no moving parts in the mast structure, Rolatube systems are virtually maintenance-free, reliable in challenging weather, easy to move between locations, and ready to deploy without specialist tools or extra crew.
Meet Rolatube at IBC 2026
IBC 2026 takes place from the 11th to the 14th of September at the RAI Amsterdam. We will be connecting with broadcast and media technology professionals to discuss how our deployable mast systems can support outside broadcast and transmission operations.
Rolatube’s lightweight composite technology is driving innovation beyond traditional mast applications, enabling new portable and rapidly deployable solutions that help broadcasters improve mobility, reduce operational complexity, and enhance efficiency in dynamic production environments. As broadcast workflows continue to evolve, these emerging technologies offer exciting opportunities for more flexible, compact, and agile field operations.
