Rolatube Deployable Mast Systems at INTERSCHUTZ 2026
Rolatube is exhibiting at INTERSCHUTZ 2026, taking place from June 1-6 at Messe Hannover, Germany. The world’s leading trade fair for fire prevention, disaster relief, rescue, and safety attracts fire services, civil protection agencies, and emergency response professionals from across the globe. Stand details to be confirmed.
Portable Infrastructure for Emergency Response
When an incident occurs, response teams need infrastructure they can transport quickly and deploy on arrival, not equipment that requires a dedicated vehicle or a multi-person crew to set up. Rolatube’s deployable mast and tripod systems are designed for exactly this.
Built using patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology, the masts roll down to a compact, portable size and deploy into rigid structural tubes. A 7m mast weighs just 8kg and can be carried to an incident scene by a single responder. Even a 10m mast — capable of supporting 12kg of equipment at full height — weighs under 25kg.
The systems feature no moving parts, meaning there are no joints to jam, no hydraulics to maintain, and no components that become unreliable in extreme temperatures or wet conditions. They operate from -31 degrees C to +49 degrees C and withstand winds up to 100kph.
For emergency services, the applications include elevated lighting at disaster and rescue scenes, communications masts for incident coordination, and surveillance platforms for scene management. The Integrated Antenna Mast (IAM) range provides a complete communication solution at just 6.2kg for the 7m system — mast and antenna in one deployable unit.
