Rolatube Portable Communications Systems at AFCEA Bonn 2026
Rolatube is exhibiting at AFCEA Bonn 2026 with our valued partner JK Defence & Security Products GmbH at Booth S30 in the New York Hall. The event takes place from May 12-13 in Bonn, Germany.
AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) brings together military, government, and industry professionals focused on communications, information technology, and electronics for defence and security.
The event is a key platform for showcasing the technologies that underpin modern military and government communications infrastructure.
Lightweight, Deployable Mast Systems for Defence Communications
Rolatube’s military-spec deployable mast, tripods and Integrated Antenna Mast (IAM) systems provide portable communications infrastructure designed for rapid field deployment with minimal personnel.
Built using patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology, the masts roll down to a compact size for transport and deploy into rigid structural tubes in the field.
For military and defence communications, Rolatube’s IAM range provides lightweight deployable VHF, UHF, and dual-band infrastructure. The 7m IAM systems start from 7.2kg, while the 3.5m RESQ system weighs 2.3kg. The antenna is built into the composite mast structure, reducing separate antenna assembly in the field.
The BRC mast structure has no moving parts and is designed for virtually maintenance-free operation, making the systems well suited to communications, signal intelligence, and surveillance operations where reliability in demanding conditions is essential.
With an operating temperature range of -31 degrees C to +49 degrees C and wind tolerance up to 100kph, the technology is proven across a wide range of environments.
