Rolatube Composite Tube Technology at Tube 2026

Rolatube will be attending Tube 2026 from the 13th to 17th April at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.

Tube is the world’s leading trade fair for the tube and pipe industry, bringing together manufacturers, processors, and engineers from across the global supply chain to explore the latest developments in tube production, processing, and applications.

The event runs alongside wire Düsseldorf, creating one of the largest showcases for metal and materials technology worldwide.

Innovative Composite Tube Technology

Rolatube’s patented Bi-stable Reeled Composite (BRC) technology represents a fundamentally different approach to tube engineering.

Unlike conventional rigid tubes, BRC tubes are manufactured in a rolled state and deploy into rigid, load-bearing structures – stable in both configurations without spring tension or locking mechanisms.

Made from glass-reinforced polypropylene, the tubes are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and contain no moving parts. A 7-metre mast system weighs just 8kg – a fraction of the weight of traditional metal alternatives – and packs down to a compact roll for transport and storage. With no joints to seize, no lubricants to maintain, and no parts to corrode, the systems are virtually maintenance-free across hundreds of deployment cycles.

Rolatube’s tube technology is already proven across defence, aerospace, and industrial applications, including mast systems, tripods, inspection booms, and integrated antenna masts

The composite tubes can also embed RF antennas, electrical conductors, and lighting directly within the tube wall, opening up possibilities for OEM integration and bespoke applications.

Meet Rolatube at Tube 2026
